But I also dislike it for making pictures look fake. I feel that photography should resemble what the eye sees to the best of our ability.  So the part that bothers me in the HDR pic is the color of the dirt.  It looks like it's glowing... or soaked in hot wing sauce.  Definitely weird in my opinion.
